Michael " Boots" Cooper

I started boxing in 1977.  I am the boxing trainer at the Jesus Boxing Camp and the head trainer at the Detroit Helping our Youth Development Boxing Program (a non-profit group).

I won the US World Kickboxing Association Full Contact Kickboxing Championship.  I coach Kickboxing and Thai Boxing at Cooper's Gym in Downtown Detroit.    

Professional Fighter 

In 1991, I earned my 2nd Dan in Hapkido and my 1st Dan in Jujitsu in 1987. 

I train in MMA and particpated in the UFC Fighter Program.
